ALFA mid-term event from 28th of November until 1st December 2010 in Breda, The Netherlands

Halfway through the ALFA project, a mid-term event will be organised by Rijkswaterstaat’s Programme Directorate ‘Room for the River’, in its capacity as Lead Partner of the ALFA project.
Project manager Jean-Marie Stam told us; “The aim of this event is, on the one hand, to look back: What has been achieved so far? Have the agreed outcomes been realised? This will be worked out in an evaluation with the partners and the project’s Steering Committee But on the other hand, the meeting will also be a moment to look into the future: What has to be done until the end of the project?”
The event is primarily meant for partners of the ALFA project. It will take place in Breda (NL) and will last for three days, starting on 28th of November. The last day will include a field trip to the Room for River project de-poldering Noordwaard (near by the ALFA project Overdiepse Polder). We will bring you more news about this in the next newsletter.
