At a first glance, education does not seem to be part of the core business of the ALFA partners. However, most ALFA partners are involved in educational activities of some sort. SIC adapt! is one of the finalists in the RegioStars Awards 2012
The jury of DG Regio’s award for innovative projects, which were presented in five different categories, has chosen SIC adapt! as one of 24 finalists. SIC adapt! applied under category 2 - Sustainable Growth - and had to compete with four other nominated finalists. On Monday 16 January 2012 all of the finalists were presented to the jury in Brussels. The RegioStars Awards ceremony will take place on 14 June 2012 at the occasion of the Regions for Economic Change Conference.




This project contributes to a more cohesive EU society because it is based on the cooperation of people from different countries to work on a common topic that touches the lives of EU-citizens.
